Tony grew up in the South Natomas area of Sacramento and joined the military shortly after graduating high school in the summer of 2002. Following four years of active duty in the United States Navy submarine corps, in 2008 Tony graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2012 from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating in the top 5% of his class. In 2011 and 2012, Tony competed on McGeorge's Mock Trial Competition Team and, after winning the Texas Young Lawyers Association Regional Championship (Northern California and Nevada), advanced to the TYLA National Competition, where he was nominated for Nation's Top Advocate in March of 2012. In his third year at McGeorge, and as a Certified Law Student, Tony practiced indigent criminal defense with the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Sacramento.

 

Tony was admitted to the California Bar in December 2012, and immediately went to work in the high-volume insurance defense field, defending a diverse cross-section of Californians in personal injury and property damage lawsuits.  In 2014, he litigated a broad array of contractual disputes, as well as real estate and business matters.

 

Since partnering with Sara Danielson Kim in 2015, Tony has practiced in all aspects of trial litigation along with a mix of transactional matters.  He now strictly concentrates on enforcing judgments, advocating for creditor rights, and real estate law.

 

When he’s not arguing in court or feverishly typing away at his computer keyboard, Tony enjoys power boating and kayaking on the Sacramento and American rivers, and is an avid traveler, having visited a handful of countries across Europe, Asia, and Central America. However, he most enjoys traveling beautiful California with his wife, Sara Kim Danielson, and their spoiled dog, Rio.
